Hi fellow hiker,

We hope you're getting excited for your Alta Via 1! This is the first email in our "Before You Go" email series, which will provide you with tools and information to help you prepare for the trail.

The personalized handbooks you will receive before your trip start date will provide further clarification, so don’t worry if you miss an email or delete one.

We've made a  flyover of our standard route in Google Earth so you can explore the route, landmarks, accommodation along the path before you even arrive. Just click the button below for access.

Use your mouse and keyboard to navigate the map:

• Click and drag to move around the map
• Hold shift, then click and drag to change your pitch
• Hold Ctrl or ⌘, then click and drag to change your perspective
